Bag filter housings made of plastic for liquid filtration
Robust Contec plastic filter housings in the SF series are manufactured from polypropylene (PP) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) at our facility. These robust bag filter housings are resistant to salt, sulfuric acid, seawater, liquid hydrocarbons, alcohols, and concentrated alkalis. They are mainly used in the chemical industry or in seawater applications.
Contec offers various designs depending on requirements, and standard filter bags can be used. The SF series bag filter housings have a modular design.
The cover is sealed with an O-ring. Housings are supplied with vent and drain valves as standard. A support basket keeps the filter bag in shape during pressure fluctuations, ensuring optimal performance. The connections are equipped with flanges or threaded fittings. Special equipment, such as pressure gauges, additional fittings, or connections, can be implemented on an individual basis.
